This fund collects money from many investors and uses it to buy shares in companies that own and operate residential properties like apartments and multifamily homes, as well as other real estate sectors. It makes money for investors by earning dividends from the rent collected by these companies and from increases in the value of the properties over time, providing a way to invest in real estate without having to purchase physical buildings.
