Pelican Acquisition Corp is what's called a SPAC or blank check company. It doesn't sell products or services but instead raises money from investors to find a private company to merge with. This allows that private company to become publicly traded without going through the traditional IPO process. Pelican makes money through sponsor fees and by creating value for investors when it successfully completes a merger.
