This fund invests in stocks of small companies and sells options contracts on those stocks to generate extra income. Investors use it to get exposure to small companies while earning income from option premiums and dividends. The fund makes money from the option premiums it collects and any dividends from the stocks it owns, passing most of this income to investors.
