Flag Ship Acquisition Corp is a special purpose acquisition company, often called a SPAC. It doesn't sell products or services to customers. Instead, it raises money from investors through an initial public offering (IPO) with the specific goal of finding a private company to acquire or merge with. The company makes money by helping take that private company public, then eventually selling its stake for a profit after the business has grown. Investors buy shares hoping the SPAC will find a good company to acquire that will increase in value.
